One candy I give a hoot about: new Tootsie Hoots!

Tootsie just dropped a new candy and this one got me immediately. Tootsie Hoots have a thin candy shell with a soft & chewy center, and that description took me right back to those Easter egg Tootsies with the thin shell.

If these are anything like those Easter eggs, I cannot wait. They were soooo good. That little snap from the shell and then the chewy Tootsie center? Exactly my kind of candy.

There are two bags: The Fruit Ones and Chocolatey & Vanilla Ones. I’m not pretending I was going to pick one. I got both.

New candy can be hit or miss, but this one feels like it has a chance. Tootsie already knows how to do that shell-and-chew combo, and if they got it right again, I doubt these are going to stay around for long.
